Vlissingen
The Netherland seaport Vlissingen is on the mouth of the Schelde. It has ferry transportation to Breskens and Sheerness in England. On a canal system you can go by boats to Middelburg, in the middle of Walcheren. Vlissingen has a long sandy beach and it's in summer a popular tourist destination, to make reservation in advance is highly recommended. Beside tourism is ship-building, fishing and fish manufactoring the most important income of this area.
