Goes
In the 10th century exists already a rural settlement. Jakoba of Bavaria, from 1401 to 1436 Countess of Holland, gave Goes the city privilegs and they start to build a wall and an harbour. More buildings for protection were made while the Eighty Years' War. From 17th to 19th century it was a center for trading with agricultural products. A lot of old buildings you can see of these ages. Today is Goes still a popular shopping town with commode cafés and restaurants round marketplace and harbour.
